About Pastor Scott Craig

Passionate, reviving, and genuine, describe the heart from which Scott speaks and ministers. In 34 years of ministry he served as a pastor, worship leader, speaker, and recording artist. Scott occupied the pulpit of Kumulani Chapel in Maui, Hawaii for 11 years before coming to Rapid City.
Scott and Ruthie, his wife of 33 years, were both raised in pastor’s homes, and have three grown children; Kacie, Scotty, married to Alyxandra, and Kaela, married to Darrel Richards, have grandson River and granddaughter Saedie.
Scott is the Pastor of Landmark Community Church. His teaching broadcast ministry, “Lighting the Way”, and his faith and political commentary can be heard on the east coast through Newcomb Broadcasting out of Washington D.C. and throughout the 5-state region and beyond through Bethesda Broadcasting. He served two terms in the South Dakota House of Representatives, is the former Chair of the Board of Directors for the Family Heritage Alliance and is a member of the Black Hills National Day of Prayer Task Force and West River Human Trafficking Task Force.
He earned a B.A. in Theology from Azusa Pacific University and a M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Scott also holds the title of Grand Master (7th degree black belt) in the Korean Martial Art of Taekwondo, and has seen many come to Christ through evangelistic martial art programs.
