Bruce Engle

Bruce EngleBorn to Mary and Lester at Eglin AFB Florida, moved to Ellsworth AFB at the age of 3. The Black Hills of South Dakota has been my home ever since.

Graduated from Douglas High School, at the time one of very few who attended Douglas Schools kindergarten through high school. I started working right out of high school with the intentions of saving money and attending college, never made the move. I landed a job as a jeweler’s apprentice and learned a trade that provided for me many years. I currently am employed by McDonalds Supply, a plumbing wholesaler, in charge of the showroom.

I met my lovely wife, Kristy, at a Saturday Night Alive Christmas party Dec 1996, and we were married on May 8th, 1998.

Kristy and I enjoy camping out in God’s creation. As an 8 year old I bowled my first game beginning a lifelong passion. This passion led to my being inducted into the South Dakota Bowling Hall of Fame.

I accepted Jesus as my Savior as a teen, however, it was my late 20’s before I started actually submitting my life to Him. I believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God. I joined the ministry of the Gideons International in 2002 to help share Bibles around the world. In this ministry I have experienced firsthand God using someone outside of their comfort zone to further His Kingdom.
